i'm just

posting this so that i u can take it off later

re:idle

so what does he look like? the site link doesn't take us to his picture.

oh and another thing: i'll probably repeat this if we meet some time soon (ha, what am i thinking the 5 us, together, ha!)- i went to surrey today, i had to help out an old friend, i was stuck for 15 blocks behind a bright yellow 2005 corvette, it was going 60. the distances between lights in surrey is quite long but this guy in the corvette didn't seem to know that, and maintained a speed of 60 throughout the 15 blocks!. i wanted to stick my head out the widow and scream: hey buddy, nice car, drive it like you own it or get off the road!!!!

i hate bad drivers, then this other guy had the audacity to hit the brakes on the alex fraser bridge, you never break on the bridge. i discovered i don't like people driving in front of me, unless they're driving fast, and way ahead of me.

2. it seems like navi's the only one getting really excited about blogging at the fou site

3. would somebody decide on a decent background, this one's driving me insane, too many colours

farah and the basketball.

okay
now that farah said i'm a bad ass
i would like to tell a story about her.

one day
y'all might remember
we were at my house
(i dont think tyna was there)
and we went outside
and we were "playing basketball" in the driveway
i put it in quotations because
well, come on
face it
amrita was the only one who knew what she was doing
and maybe sammy
but anyways
we were "playing"
and farah was "checking" amrita
and then farah...
this is what farah did:
farah stole the ball from amrita
then
she wrapped her arms around it
as if it was her life
then..
then farah RAN to the hoop
mind you, she didnt dribble so it didnt take long
and then she took a fairy shot
it didnt go in
it missed completely
it had to be one of the funniest things i've seen farah do

well second to farah rollerblading
if y'all ever want to laugh
you ask farah to go rollerblading with you
she laughs with you so you don't feel horrible about mocking your friend
farah, you bad ass
wanna go rollerblading?

i win.

that's right.
i won.
FOU flew.

i was sitting in a really ratty cyber cafe in india while my parents were at the dentist.
i really missed the ladies so i emailed them.
i think it was tyna who recieved the first prosposal.
i said tyna, i think we should call ourselves the FOU
and we should have t-shirts that say FOU and all this other FOU stuff.
tyna laughed. she said it wouldnt happen.
she said it was too lame.
nothing is too lame.
and yes, it's true, the t-shirts aren't here
but I WON.
FOU FOU FOU
..
FOU!
FOU you to those who didnt believe
(i feel like this is an oscar acceptance speech; that's the magnitude of my success, ha)

unconditionally

regardless, no matter what, without doubt we unconditionally love one another.

Now, I know through no choice of their own, families get saddled with you, and here you find yourself in this complex relationship with other people who willingly stepped into the madness. They'll always stick by your side even if they feel hands rising to ring your neck.

I for one cannot beleive nav's stupid FOU stuck, like gum to the bottom of your shoe.

edit:
Sammy: She's pursuing a career in psychology at the UBC while looking indecently good. Part of the wheel family along with me. Charismatic, energetic, and always with an awesome put down at the tip of her tongue.

R: I think I look like Angelina Jolie.
S: No, you don't.

tyna, plz edit

this is sameera, could my little "tyna profile" be changed cuz as u guys know now, my whole career and life is changing and im not doing a commerce degree anymore, and i would like to stop telling ppl that, cuz its just a let down. (for myself and everyone else). so if its possible to change or something please do, thanks.

Introductions

What does the FOU mean?
- Pronounced Foo: The name is an acronym for "Five Of Us", it was created by one of its members, Navi, for the purpose of refering to the five friends: Amrita (ritz), Farah (farz), Navjit (navi), Sameera (sammy), and Tyna (tyna lil). It refers to the collective body of friends, who all have various histories and stories with and of each other. Today, we take part in traditional friend things such as shopping, studying, birthday dinners, and "hang-out" days, but in so many more ways we exceed the definition of "friends".

Amrita (ritz):
Is pursuing a future in psychology, at the University of British Columbia; is in a long term relationship with Matt, and always has a story.

Farah (farz):
Is a traveller at heart and hopes to do something in the field of international relations, and is studying at the University of British Columbia; she got a fiesty spirit and a bubbly presence.

Navjit (navi):
Is passionate about the human mind all that is within it, she is currently studying cognitive systems, at the University of British Columbia; she is truly the kindest person one can ever know.

Sameera (sammy):
Is pursuing a career in psychology, at the University of British Columbia; while looking indecently good, she is charismatic, energetic, and always with an awesome put down at the tip of her tongue.

Tyna (tyna lil):
Is making her way into the legal realm, and is currently studying political science, at the University of British Columbia; she is always willing to listen and give advice when and if necessary.

This is who we are, what we do, so welcome to the world of the FOU.
